Over the past 19 years I have earned a Bachelor of Applied Design degree and have also studied various fine art and design disciplines including textile design, interior design, graphic and web design.

I met my husband Chad in 1996 on Maui. He has been involved with photography since the darkroom days. His passion for the art led him to underwater, architecture, events and wedding photography. In 1997 HappyFish Design was created to provide design services for small and medium sized companies. Chad's passion evolved again with digital cameras and became the first featured photographer for Capture One. Today, he's involved with a global network of photographers and is considered a trusted resource for advice on computer hardware, calibration, printing and color work. He's an active member of WPPI and DWF.

From 2001 through 2005 I was also lead graphic designer and project coordinator for Kapalua Marketing (Kapalua Resort, Maui, Hawaii) and also worked with Maui Land & Pineapple, Inc. and Maui Pineapple Company, Ltd. During this time I designed and coordinated pre and post press production of a vast range of projects including ads for local and national publications, promotional and informational collateral, signage, t-shirt designs, special event collateral (such as the Mercedes Championships and the Kapalua Wine & Food Festival) and more. I also was the project coordinator during complete website redesigns (which were designed by StarrTech Interactive) and maintained all content for their large family of websites including KapaluaMaui.com, KapaluaRealty.com, KapaluaClub.com, KapaluaVillas.com, and KapaluaLuxuryHomes.com.

In 2006 HappyFish Design began providing design and post-production services only to professional photographers. Together, our unique experiences and talents complement each other to become your trusted resource.
